My Favorite Sheet Music

I have a lot of favorite composers that I like to listen to. They include Pachelbel, Beethoven, Chopin, and Debussy. So I ought to create a list of my favorite piano sheet music ever! And share it with you!

Fur Elise Sheet Music

Fur Elise is known by everyone. It plays on cell phones of owners who don't even know who wrote it. There is a lot of mystery behind its meaning and the person it was dedicated to. This song was just supposed to be a simple bagatelle but it turned out to be something much more brilliant. The world has concurred.

Ode to Joy Sheet Music

Ode to Joy is a personal favorite of mine. I know it is part of Beethoven's 9th symphony but it deserves to stand out on its own. It is a magnificent piece, simple yet enduring and powerful. There's really nothing like it at all. I have read that Beethoven had reservations about adding vocals to it because he thought vocals often demean a work but in this case it really added to the entire symphony. Beethoven's 9th is most definitely his best work ever!

Claire de Lune Sheet Music

Claire de Lune is just one of those songs on piano that just makes you love life! It reminds you of simple times and the beauty of nature. It is probably one of my favorite songs on the piano ever and has been used in countless modern media settings. It's one of those songs that I hold dear to me and love its gradual crescendo movement.

Fantasie Impromptu Sheet Music

Fantasie Impromptu is by Chopin and its a wonderful piece. The beginning always sounds a bit creepy to me but it slowly builds to a grand movement that I personally think can compare to the likes of Moonlight Sonata, for they both have similar builds and tone.

Canon in D Sheet Music

Canon in D is also a great piece. Written by Pachelbel in the early days of piano it stands as one of the most popular pieces on piano today. I think it's a great, simple melody and should be learned by all!
